Course Description

Run, walk, climb, crawl—you’ll experience it all at our Minneapolis mud run. Expect to laugh until your cheeks hurt. Expect the event to go on rain or shine. Expect not to be timed. Expect some crazy team uniforms. Expect to leave with an overwhelming sense of accomplishment, as well as a DG tee and charm.

Course Strategy

You will need to arrive 60-90 minutes prior to your registered wave time. First wave is at 8am and they start every 15 minutes.Take it easy and have fun! It is not timed or competitive so you can go entirely at your own pace. The course may include off road terrain, so be careful. You’re sure to get muddy, wet and experience some cheek busting laughter. You can expect safety throughout the course and water stations at mile 1 and mile 2.

Obstacles

You’ll giggle your way through the “Utopian Tubes” at the Minneapolis fun run. Get ready for more fun than run on our 10-12 obstacles at the Twin Cities muddy run. But don’t worry…if you get to an obstacle that’s more than a challenge for you, just take one of the detours!

Parking is $10. After parking, follow the signs to Metro Gun Club and Check in.

Handicap accessible parking will be available at 10601 Naples Street Northeast Blaine, MN 55449. Must have valid pass.

Spectator Tips

Prepare your family and friends – they’ll be overwhelmed with a sense of jealousy as they watch you experience one of the best and muddiest days of your year! Make sure they bring a camera, as the memories are priceless! As always, spectators are welcome to attend Dirty Girl 5K run for just the cost of parking. Because where would a Dirty Girl be without her fans? Just a couple of reminders…please no outside food or drink brought in to the venues and please leave all pets at home during the run. Psst…you may want to also wear shoes you don’t mind muddy-ing, just in case!

Want to volunteer for our women’s obstacle run? You’ll receive a shiny new volunteer tee and free entry into a future Dirty Girl event for you or a friend. Women and men are welcome to volunteer.

FAQ

Nitty Gritty

Dirty Girl has a no refund/transfer policy. This includes person to person and year to year. Along with our policy, if a venue is changed from the original advertised venue, and is sill an hour and a half from the advertised city, a refund will not be given. Lastly, If a coupon code is not used properly by the purchaser, and the transaction goes through, the difference will not be refunded back to the purchaser.

Day of registration cost is $70.

Photos

Professional photographer will be at the event to capture you in all your muddified glory. Make sure your bib is visibile on the front of your shirt. Photos will be available online the week after the event. In the meantime, check out some previous event snapshots on our Facebook page.

How Fit Should I Be?

Dirty Girl Mud Run is for women of all fitness levels and athletic abilities. You do not have to be a runner to conquer the Dirty Girl obstacle course with style and a little swagger. Keep a positive attitude and bring your besties and you’ll cross the finish line!

Dirty Girl is an obstacle mud run for women of all ages and athletic abilities near Minneapolis, Minnesota. Don’t worry – it’s not a “race” in the traditional sense. It’s an untimed 5k run designed to push you slightly out of your comfort zone, but only as far as you’re comfortable going. Forming teams is encouraged, and so is helping and cheering your fellow Dirty Girls to the finish. At a Dirty Girl Mud Run you’ll find excitement, laughter and camaraderie—as well as lots of music and even some adult beverages. Remember, parking is a $10 charge, cash only. It’s a mud-covered day you’ll never forget.
